JUDAS PRIEST: Another Tokyo Date Announced
August 18, 2008British heavy metal legends JUDAS PRIEST have added a second Tokyo date to their upcoming Japanese tour. The band's Japanese schedule is now shaping up as follows:
Sep. 24 - Nagoya Shi Kokaido, Japan
Sep. 25 - Osaka Festival Hall, Japan
Sep. 26 - Osaka Festival Hall, Japan
Sep. 28 - Pacifico, Yokohama, Japan
Sep. 29 - Budokan, Tokyo, Japan
Oct. 01 - Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo, Japan

JUDAS PRIEST performed an abbreviated set at Hard Rock Café New York in Times Square on August 4 as part of syndicated broadcast personality Eddie Trunk's event to celebrate his 25th anniversary in radio broadcasting.
JUDAS PRIEST's new double-disc concept album, "Nostradamus", has sold 83,000 copies in the United States since its June 17 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD shifted 42,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 11 on The Billboard 200 chart. This marks the band's highest-ever chart position in the U.S. In Canada, the CD opened at position No. 9 after shifting close to 4,000 units.
JUDAS PRIEST's last CD, "Angel of Retribution", premiered with 58,000 copies in the U.S. back in March 2005 to debut at No. 13.
